Walt and Lee started TheSleepWhisperer.net as a fun place for technicians in the sleep field to share their experience and information with others in the same field. The site is focused towards sleep professionals, but we encourage anyone to log on, and share your experiences with sleep disorder, dreams, CPAP therapy advice or even registry questions.

A NH based RPSGT who, when not battling sleep disorders at the same accredited sleep center he's been at since 1997, spends his free time drinking (and brewing) beer, stockpiling ammo, watching sumo, and spending quality time with his family.

Lee Longnecker

Lee Longnecker has been dedicated to helping people with sleep disorders for more than 20 years, 10 of which were spent as Lead Technician at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. After a stint at Dartmouth College Sleep Lab in Hanover, NH, he has remained on the east coast working as a registered sleep technician in Concord, NH for the past five years.

An outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, shooting, boating and fishing in all seasons of the year, he is father to an 19-year-old daughter who recently expressed an interest in training for work in the Sleep field. His family also includes a mixed-breed dog and a cat who likes to imitate everything the dog does.
